My name is Robert Watson. I come from Dayton, OH. I have been an instrumental artist for twelve years. I have released nine digital albums from 2009 to now. I play guitar, bass and keyboards. I am a one man band. I call myself “The Eclectic Music Man” because my music is very eclectic. I fused my musical sound with touches on Psychedelic Rock, R&B, Jam Band, Blues Rock, Jazz Rock, Funk & Soul. My main influence is Jimi Hendrix. He was the main one who made me want to pick up the guitar. I have done two local shows in the past few years. My first gig was at the Ray and Joan Kroc Center [Salvation Army] for their “Summer Concert Series” in 2011. My second gig was at the DIMM Con 2014 in December of 2014. My music has been played on internet radio stations such as FlobCast, Catorweb Radio, KB Radio (Canada), Museboat Radio, Radio Basile, Drooble and V6 Radio. My music has been reviewed by V6, FlobCast and Indie Music Plus.
“When it come to his ability to play multiple instruments, he is unmatched. He uses a wide range of from: electric piano, guitar, drums, and he is specifically subtle with the symbols. Everything is a smooth groove, that verifies you will be cool. All of his loops are layered in a consistent pace. Hearing this will put your soul in a proper place.” Frank Willis III – Great Frank’s Place
“Robert Watson. “ECLECTIC MUSIC MAN” from Dayton, Ohio. plays guitar and writes instrumental songs. He is a one man band and loves music very much. Watson likes to fuse psychedelia with R&B, soul, jazz, rock, and blues with his music. His main influence is Jimi Hendrix because he’s the one who really inspired Watson to play the guitar. On Listening to Watson’s music you feel a sense of peace and positiveness and yet an uplifting vibe that takes you on an amazing musical journey. This is most certainly worth a listen and if you like it which I’m sure you will it’s definitely worth buying.” – FlobCast
